Your Touch

I’m starved for your embrace

A tender touch

To steal my breath

And make my heart to race

I long for your tenderness

To feel the sweetness of your breath

That raises the hair upon my neck

And makes my lungs gasp – in spasms of delight

Only your touch will ignite the flame within me

Please don’t let this fire die

I’m reaching out to you

Won’t you reach out to me too?

And, at the very least,

Let our fingers touch.

Passion Dance

Warm eyes, Tender look

Teasing smile, Gentle touch

Skin tingles, Short of breath

Light headed dizziness.

Soft lips, Long kiss

Romantic dance, Inviting glance

Exploring hands, beating hearts

Bodies gleaming, beads of sweat

Longing, Writhing,

Groping, Sighing

Mind is flying, Paralyzing.

Heavy breathing, Chests are heaving

Hearts slowing, Bodies glowing

Soothing touch, Deep sighs

Heavy eyes, Peaceful Sleep

This reminds me of the time when my husband and I are still in the boyfriend-girlfriend stage, we both feel the warmth of our love just by merely touching!

Yes PaperNotes,

How wonderful, when those same feelings, last throughout the years of your marriage.

It can and does happen!

..this is like a poetic dance and it's so seductive in its longing ....... and often (I find) using the most simple lean words is the most effective way of conveying one's message and you have certainly done that here - in flying poetic colors!

epigramman, you are so right. There is a time to use simplicity. Using the simplest of words, gives the reader's mind the ability to paint its own picture and ignite its own fire. Thank you

Nellieanna, I am pleased to have you read it and am honored that you, oh lady of exquisite words, found it to your liking.

There is nothing like the ache for a touch. Should you or shouldn't you. That sweet release when two people embrace or hold hands so tightly. We all have been there.
